Sun Lab
The Sun Lab studies the gene regulatory mechanisms that drive Alzheimer disease and brain aging. Our research focuses on how genetic variation, enhancers, chromatin architecture, and transcription factor networks interact to influence neuronal function and disease susceptibility. By combining functional genomics, epigenomics, and AI-based modeling, we aim to identify key regulatory pathways, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets for Alzheimer disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.
