Ambiguous Loss and Grief When Caring for Someone with Alzheimer’s

When a loved one with dementia is losing mental capacity, it’s common to experience profound grief. Ambiguous loss is a type of loss we feel when a person with dementia is physically here but may not be as emotionally or mentally present as they used to be. We might be overwhelmed by emotions, grief, and even guilt. Join us to learn about ambiguous loss and grief.
